a Spring Shower at Lou Lou

Some events stay with us long after the last guest leaves—and Sunday’s baby shower for Megan is one of them.

We first partnered with Megan and Adam two years ago to plan and design their wedding at Lula Cafe. So when we received the delicious news that they were expecting, and Megan reached out to plan her baby shower, it felt like coming full circle. Being invited back into a couple’s story, to create meaningful moments across new chapters, is truly the most rewarding part of what we do.

Megan’s vision was simple, intentional, and heartfelt. She didn’t want the typical baby shower frills—no backdrops, balloons, or party games. Instead, she wanted to gather her loved ones in a space that felt beautiful, warm, and memorable.

Hosted at Lou Lou, Lula Cafe’s charming event space, the setting was refined yet welcoming. We designed one long communal table dressed in rich, seasonal linens and adorned with spring blooms. Each place setting included an embroidered ribbon with the guest’s name wrapped around a napkin, and a kokedama resting on a handmade ceramic plate—each guest took theirs home as a thoughtful keepsake.

It was an afternoon full of warmth, gratitude, and deep connection. We poured our hearts into this celebration—because we always do, and because this couple holds a special place in ours.

Megan, thank you for the trust, the friendship, and the opportunity to celebrate with you once again. We cannot wait to meet your little one.
