Studio & Events Assistant Manager
we're looking for a hands-on leader who loves organization, teamwork, and bringing events to life. help oversee our assistant team while supporting rentals, installations, venue operations, and studio management.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise studio assistants during daily operations
• Delegate tasks and ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
• Work alongside assistants to pull, pack, and prepare inventory for events and rental orders
• Oversee the check-in process for returning inventory and ensure items are properly cleaned, organized, and restocked
• Maintain an organized, well-stocked, and efficient studio environment
• Track inventory and identify damaged, missing, or replacement items
• Keep detailed records of rental items that need to be returned to outside vendors and ensure timely returns
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Participate in event installations, styling, and event day setup and teardown
• Support venue management tasks at Atelier by elliestyled, including event readiness, vendor coordination, and maintaining venue standards
• Communicate regularly with leadership regarding project status, inventory needs, and team performance
• Help train new assistants and reinforce company procedures and expectations
• Ensure assistants are following established processes and maintaining high standards of work
Schedule
This is a full-time position averaging approximately 40 hours per week. The typical schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, as most events take place on weekends. However, schedules may vary based on event production needs, installations, venue bookings, and rental deliveries. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends is required.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience managing or supervising a team required
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
• Event, hospitality, rental, warehouse, venue, or operations experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move event inventory and equipment
• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events
