Modern Elegance: Styling Mileena & Tyler’s Chic Armour House Wedding
Earlier this summer, we had the honor of designing Mileena and Tyler’s wedding at the stunning Armour House in Lake Forest. The setting — with its Italian Renaissance architecture and lush formal gardens — created the perfect backdrop for a celebration that was both timeless and fresh.
The couple’s vision was clean, modern, and chic, infused with deep, rich tones of purples and aubergine that added an unexpected pop of color against the classic black-and-white palette. This bold choice gave the design a sophisticated edge and a contemporary twist, perfectly reflecting Mileena and Tyler’s style.
One standout moment was the seating chart vignette — a striking feature that balanced elegance with a hint of playful unpredictability. Throughout the event, we embraced this blend of iconic details and modern elements, from sculptural floral arrangements to sleek styled bars. The mood was further enriched by moody grapes and expertly crafted dirty martinis, setting the tone for a night full of memorable moments and subtle drama.
Dinner tables were dressed in crisp white linens, punctuated by modern floral designs and moody fruit accents. Sometimes, it’s the contrast of shape and color that brings the true drama — and white linen, when paired thoughtfully, has an undeniable place in creating that refined atmosphere.
